23 Years Deepika Padukone want film with Salman
She began her Bollywood journey with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Om Shanti Om' but it is actor Salman Khan, who is on the wish list of Deepika Padukone. "I am really looking forward to work with Salman," said Deepika.
"In fact we were supposed to be paired up much earlier but then a couple of films didn't quite work out. That's sad but I am sure that in near future, we would be paired opposite each other," said the actress, who will next be seen with Farhan Akhtar in 'Karthik Calling Karthik'.
The 23-year-old has already worked with hotshots like Akshay Kumar 'Chandni Chowk To China' and Saif Ali Khan 'Love Aaj Kal' and will next be seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Imran Khan and Neil Nitin Mukesh in 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se', 'Break Ke Baad' and YRF's untitled film respectively.
Meanwhile, one wonders what happened to a film called 'Kick' which was rumoured to be featuring Salman and Deepika together. The remake of the namesake Telugu film, it was supposed to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss of 'Ghajini' fame.
"It is plain rumour. Reports of me working with Salman in 'Kick' are untrue. In fact I haven't been offered any such film", the actress said. While Deepika's track record shows that she has been enjoying a release once every six months ever since the release of 'Om Shanti Om', the frequency is all set to increase in the coming months.
Soon after 'Karthik Calling Karthik' (February), Deepika would be seen in 'Housefull' (April). Either 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se' or her film with Neil Nitin Mukesh would be her next release thereafter. Incidentally, both the films are being shot at a brisk pace.
With so much work happening and no play, isn't she worried of burn out? Doesn't she fear getting all tired and worn out with so much work happening month after month?
"Honestly, I don't look at working in films as a job. I really enjoy performing and what I do is something that gives me maximum pleasure and satisfaction. I am better off facing the camera", smiles Deepika. "In any case, I am taken well care of both on and off the sets. I feel comfortable and secure and there are no complaints whatsoever," she said

An Interview with Katrina Kaif
Bollywood's very own Barbie girl Katrina Kaif is on a success trail, as she bags a nomination in the prestigious Filmfare Awards for her role in New York. At a press conference to announce the Filmfare awards this year, http://www.lightneasy.org/punbb/profile.php?id=1879 she says that Filmfare should introduce a new category of award for actors like Salman and her who have never ever got any award for acting.
As an actress, what is your take on awards?
Honestly I think every actor who is a part of Bollywood wants to win. http://www.reasonproject.org/forum/member/17609/ As far as I am concerned, I would say that I am not used to winning awards for the Best Actress, though I have put in as many as six years in the film industry ever since I had made my debut with Kaizad Gustad’s ‘Boom’. All that I would say is I am happy even when I am nominated for the award. I cannot complain, because I have won rewards at the box office with my films clicking in a big way consecutively in the last few years.
You have to your credit quiet a few hit numbers as an actress. To what extent do you think you deserve the credit for a hit number, like say ‘Kiss Me’ in the film ‘Race’?
I do not like controversies though fortunately or unfortunately, controversy has become my middle name in the industry, whether I want it or not. I agree to dance to a number only after I listen to it and I am convinced that it is catchy, foot -tapping and easy to the ear. Hence the entire credit for making the song a hit ought to go not to me who just performs to the number, but to the lyricist and the composer.
Do you agree that you are hot and sexy?
Personally I do not think that I am hot and sexy. I try not to disappoint the audiences who come to watch me in my film. To click in Bollywood, besides the fact that you have to have talent in an abundant measure, you should also have your own appeal. What according to you is your plus point as an actress?
If Vidya Balan is known for her ethnic roles, I am known for my fun roles. Each of us has our own place in the sun as far as Bollywood is concerned and we are not at all competing with one another.
Who do you think deserves the award besides you this year?
Though I have been nominated for the Best Actress award by Filmfare this year, I do not say that I alone deserve the award. If you were to ask me who I would nominate for the Best Actress Award besides me, I’d say that Priyanka Chopra deserves it for her performance in ‘Kaminey’. I’d also pick on Vidya Balan for her performance in ‘Paa’.
What do you think is responsible for bagging an award for acting- Talent or luck?
Salman Khan has never won the Best Actor award though he has been acting for the last 21 years in Bollywood. It does not mean that he is a bad actor. It is just that he has not been lucky to have bagged the award. If he deserves the award, come what may he will get it. One personal question… Now that Salman has declared what he feels for you, would you also express what you think of him?
Look here. Salman is very senior. I will continue to retain my stance that I am not comfortable talking about my personal life. Period.
Do you think you are lucky as an actress?
Though I do not think I am lucky as far as bagging awards are concerned, I feel that I am blessed, as an actress. Not only do I get good roles, but most of my films are also successful at the box office. What more could I have asked for?
What did you think of Zarine Khan who has made her debut with Veer?
I have just seen the second half of ‘Veer’. I enjoyed watching it. I should say that Zarine was supremely confident about herself in the film, though I used to fumble initially when I used to face the camera in the early stage of my career.
Which are the actors with whom you’d love to work with, besides Salman Khan?
Any actress would love to work with superstars like Aamir Khan or for that matter Shah Rukh Khan. The trouble is that I have not been approached to work with them till date, though I would love to act with both of them.
What kind of films do you want to have in your kitty, as an actress?
I am keen on being a part of romantic comedies like say ‘When Harry Meets Sally’.
Besides awards, are you complacent as an actress with whatever you have achieved till date?
I will steal a quote of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, who had gone on record that he always likes to be seated behind, since only then will he be able to have the goal to go in front.

The movie made nearly $1m over opening weekend, shooting to No6 in the UK box office countdown.
Actor SHAHRUKH KHAN recently appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross to promote the film.
The hunky star gained fans after joking about full body-scan machines at London airports, saying he had autographed printouts of his X-rays.
The film tells the tale of a Muslim suffering from Asperger's syndrome, who embarks on a journey to meet BARACK OBAMA.

Katrina Kaif, these days is busy with the promotion of her forthcoming film Rajneeti in which she will be seen in a de-glam look

Katrina Kaif has awarded for excellence in performing arts and she also share the words of success on Wednesday
The 25-year-old Bollywood actress of many hit movies was given the award by Assocham (Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) for her contribution to the world of cinema.
Though she arrived 3 hours late to receive the award, Katrina was profusely apologetic and shared her secret mantra.
“I think everyone wants to make the best of the opportunities you get in life. Everyone has a special place in the world and I think self-belief is the most important thing which keeps you going so you should never lose it,” Katrina told reporters in New Delhi.

Beside, having her legs, stomach and face covered in white glued on pearls, Lady Gaga wore white ankle high boots, white panties and white jacket and an oversized white hat. She wore a special edition of Mac color named after her, which will be used to raise money for AIDs research. Katrina Kaif on Ishqia

Katrina Kaif, the sizzling hot sexy firang babe of bollywood who is in a relationship with macho man Salman Khan for quite some time, rode a rickshaw, much like her beau, to reach home after watching Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi, Naseeruddin Shah starrer ‘Ishqia’ at a city multiplex.Sources say that hot Katrina Kaif was looking super sexy in her skin tight jeans and T-shirt, when she came out of theatre. However, when her SUV did not arrive even after waiting for some time, the gorgeous lady did not hesitate in boarding a rickshaw with her manager.
However, this was not for the first time that Katrina Kaif was riding a rickshaw.
In fact, she had accompanied beau Salman Khan on a rickshaw ride earlier too, when Sallubhai decided to try a rickshaw to his home in Bandra in the dead of night, some time ago. For Salman Khan, being a Bandra boy since his childhood, it was nothing special but for Katrina Kaif the experience was something to remember.
Presently, Katrina Kaif is busy with her upcoming flick ‘Rajneeti’, which is being directed by Prakash Jha. The film will present the hot Kat in a completely deglamourized avatar wherein she plays the part of a lady politician.

According to her manager, Katrina Kaif’s illness was not serious this time and she would be free to return to work in a few days after recovering from food poisoning.Earlier, Katrina Kaif had undergone surgery at a city hospital for Endometrioma but recovered fully from that and resumed work. Hopefully, this time too, the gorgeous lady would come out of all this very soon.
In the mean time, Katrina Kaif’s relation with Salman Khan is said to have hit a new low after the debacle of Salman starrer ‘Veer’ at the box office. Katrina Kaif is said to have switched camps to Shah Rukh Khan from Salman Khan, and industry is abuzz that this shows that Katrina has finally emerged out of Sallubhai’s shadow.
