Another Bollywood beauty gone high tech! After Kareena Kapoor's endorsement deal with Sony Ericsson's XPERIA and Vivaz range, it's Deepika Padukone's turn to endorse a tech product. The "Housefull" star has signed on to become the new face of Sony's Cyber Shot digital cameras.

Bebo can now officially welcome Deepika to the Sony family and the high tech brand ambassadors' Bollywood club! The "3 Idiots" actress was in Delhi the other day to announce her partnership with the company and had this to say during the press conference:

"I am very happy to be associated with Sony Ericsson. Having experienced the new phone - the XPERIA X10, I believe that Sony Ericsson truly represents the fusion of communication and entertainment in mobile device. I love my new feature rich Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 that allows me to easily keep in touch with my family and friends, while keeping myself entertained on the go."

And we are sure that the mentioning of the Deepika's name alone will make people want to go and buy Sony's Cyber Shot digital cameras! Just like Kareena will probably bring in a lot of revenue for Sony Ericsson as a lot of young people identify with her image.

"Apart from my mobile phone, I always carry a camera. In fact, it is very important to carry one of these and just capture moments because you never know when, where, what is going to happen and you can capture one of the most beautiful moments and look back at them years later and cherish them," Deepika told reporters at the press event.
